Escape with LA TRAVIATA
The La Traviata brand began its life at the turn of the 20th century in Cuba or, more precisely, in the tabacalera Cubana, Agramonte No. 106, in Havana. To this day, Tabacalera Cugana is fondly remembered as a factory that adhered to the traditional principles of Cuban cigar craftsmanship.
Over 100 years later, CAO has resurrected the La traviata name, abiding closely to its original Cuban roots in presentation and taste. The La Traviaa vista harkens back to the era of the pre-nationalization Havana cigar, while to the tobaccos utilized are a modern marriage blended with the express purpose of recreating the classic old world Havana flavor profile.
Displaying a sumptuous Colorado-brown Ecuadorian wrapper, the cigar entices to the visual sense as well as the old factory, with a pepper and leather pre-light nose. From the first pull, the cigar bursts with a spicy, rich texture of velvety smoke. The palate is medium to full bodied, showing a character that is intense but round. Flavors of Cedar, anise, and black pepper shine through and softly evolve into a lush and creamy finish.
Manufactured at CAO Fabrica de Tabacos in Esteli, Nicaragua.
