Product Details

Amber in color. A finger and a half on the head settles to a nice thin cap. The can advertises nice lacing and the beer showcases it really well.Smells like spicy citrus. Malt undertones are present as well.Tastes of hops, with a malty back end and a bit of lemon or orange as well. Aftertaste is briefly nutty. the flavor builds toward bitterness but just before the taste becomes too bitter the malty, nutty, back end kicks in.Feels as expected in the mouth. Mediumbodied, maybe slightly more carbonated than standard for IPA. Leaves some stickiness on the lips but less so than many IPAs.Being at 6.4% ABV, I would expect hoppy bitterness, a hint of booze, or a great beer that disguises the ABV with a wellbalanced profile. This is a great beer. It seems like a good first step for people who are wary of IPAs due to a distaste for too much bitterness.

Bengali Tiger

What immortal hand or eye. Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

The Sixpoint homebrewed IPA interpretation. Blaze orange in color, with an abundance of citrus hop bitterness, and a full pine and grapefruit bouquet in the aroma.
