What’s the difference in a milk stout and other stouts? Glad you asked! All stouts use roasted barley, but Milk Stouts use lactose sugar which is unfermentable and provides a residual sweetness.

These beers styles are medium bodied ranging from 4-6% ABV with GGU2GD sitting right in the middle at 5% unlike their similar but distinct relatives Dry Irish Stout, American Stout, or Russian Imperial Stout.
