Well hopped and malty with a Clear cola color and ivory head. Dark dried fruit, dark toast, caramel, bourbon aromas. Medium bodied. Dark bread, bourbon, toasted caramel, vanilla flavors It is more or less the German equivalent to an English ale. Traditionally fermented "warmer" ( 15-20° C ) than a Lager ( 4-9° C ) but aged at cold temperatures.

Bourbon Street Alt

It is cold fermented and cold aged to produce a smooth malt flavor. Next, the beer is aged for another eight weeks in small batch bourbon barrels. The result is a strong German-style alt with sweet flavors of malt and warm bourbon flavors from the barrels.
