Ursus Americanas, or black bears, are prominent in western North Carolina. But Catawba’s rare Brown Bear also roams these mountains. Its smooth caramel and chocolate notes dominate your first taste, then a subtle dryness cleanses your palate just in time for another sip. This English inspired brown ale is dark and flavorful, yet not too robust or filling. Libate, don’t hibernate!
