Established in 1898, the Dalwhinnie distillery is located in the Highland village of Dalwhinnie chosen for its plentiful peat bogs and easy access to clear spring water which allowed for the production of exquisite Highlands Scotch whiskey for over a century. Currently under the ownership of British spirits conglomerate Diageo, the distillery was chosen to craft an exclusive bottling to celebrate the upcoming release of the final season of HBO’s hit fantasy series, Game of Thrones.
