This was my first 5.0 across the board. This was a perfect. It reminded me of some of the best out there, with all of their qualities. This had some of the pine/bitter notes of Pliny, and some of the grapefruit/citrus from a Stone IPA.The beer pours a nice foamy white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a clear gold that appears to be very clean.The beer has a nice upfront grapefruit hop profile with a hint of malt sweetness. Strong grapefruit bitterness upfront with just a hint of pine resin as well as floral taste. Almost no malt sweetness, which I like in most IPAs.
