SAM ADAMS IMPERIALERIAL SERIES
Pours a deep walnut color clear with a nice two finger tan head that falls pretty quick to a ring. Only sparse lace left behind nice color though.Aroma is rich caramel malts mingled with some nice dark fruits raisins mostly some light hop notes mingled with earthy hints.Taste is malty caramel with some nutty notes and dark fruits. Finish is some spicy alcohol notes hints of licorice and earthy notes. Flavor not really what I was expecting for a doppele but overall not bad little alcohol burn but it is 9.5% and its not distracting.Mouthfeel is a big medium with pretty mellow carbonation levels.
