The beer pours a clear copper with a creamy and generous offwhite head that laces and leaves a constant blanketing while drinking. The nose presents huge notes of caramelized sugar, dripping citrus fruits, and blended booze. Similar characteristics come forward in the taste with an initial rush of tropical citrus fruits that mellow into a sweet caramel candy bitterness and finishes with a biting bitter booziness. Its medium bodied, sweetbitter balanced, well carbonated, slightly boozy, but all around drinkable when decanted and given ample time to breathe/warm a bit. Definitely an IPA worth trying for the price, format, and availability.
