On the palate, it's a relatively dry sip, starting with toffee but unpacking slow-building smoke, clove and burnt orange peel, and finishing with cigar wrapper, unsweetened chocolate and spice. A good contemplative sipper.

Lost Distillery - Benachie

Inspired by a lost legendary Aberdeenshire distillery, revived using the finest casks today as a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky resulting in a big Sherry Bomb style. Dried fruits, marzipan, mandarin, leather and sweet spices linger on the palate.
