Very dark brown. Hint of red hue.Smells like a chocolate or coffee stout, but with a prominent smokey scent above all flavors.Taste is more smokey than chocolatey. Its earthy and unique. Notes of burning hickory like youd enjoy by a campfire. It might sound like an odd flavor profile, but thats indeed the best way I can describe it.Finish is bitter, yet smooth. A creamy beer with a longlasting smokiness. Its not thick and syrupy like other porters.Overall, I really enjoyed it. Its one of Stones more interesting offerings. Pricepoint could use work, but thats my only complaint.
