Clear and straw in color, this beer is light in complexion, moderately carbonated, and is topped with a nice white head. The aroma is clean...grass and grain...not much fruit, but a moderate hop scent...peppery, but quiet. Crisp and a tad bitter. Not really sweet, but there is a flavor of malt. Medium in body...mor substantial than expected. Nicely drinkable.

This light-bodied ale casts a golden hue reminiscent of the summer sun shining high above the City of Philadelphia. It was commissioned of us by the Greater Philadelphia Marketing and Tourism Corporation in order to capture the essence of a city that is rich in history and in flavor. Share and feel the ‘Love this summer as tourists and locals alike flock to your restaurant or bar!

Malt: imported 2 row German malts

Hops: whole flower Tettnang Tettnang, Simcoe and Amarillo hops

ABV: 5.2%
