A slightly hazy, dark honey brown colour. One inch of beige head. Not much lacing. There was a definite brown sediment at the bottom.The aroma is strong citrus and pine.A strong tart pine taste. Very earthy. Starts with grapefruit and ends with a tart bitter aftertaste. I had the mystical experience of smelling citrus and tasting pine at the same moment.Medium feel with little carbonation.The malty backbone was missing from the taste. This is extreme hops and an excellent example of a West Coast IPA.
